"Soft and relatively unstructured", these two adjectives reflect exactly my outfit last weekend. I was in the mood for something very casual and ASOS made it happen!
I don't know if any of you are moms (or moms to be) but I find most of the maternity clothes very mumsy and updated. I like H&M for denims and basic tees but other than that I'm not a big fan. Enter ASOS, my saviour lately. I'm usually not an online shopper as I like to feel and try my clothes before buying but I placed my first order a couple of weeks ago and find myself browsing their website on a daily basis now! They have so many trendy styles... The delivery is free worldwide and quite fast even for the Middle East. They always have discount codes floating around so this could end up in a very dangerous place to shop!
Quality-wise it's ok, very similar to H&M or Zara. I don't want to invest in expensive maternity clothes anyway because let's be honest, you only wear them for a short period of time. It makes no sense for me to splurge. Instead I like to accessorise my outfits with a cool pair of shoes or a nice bag. Talking about shoes, these pink Adidas Superstars have been surgically attached to my feet since I got them. So comfy!
Sizing wise I would say that ASOS run a little big. If you are between two sizes definitely go with the smallest one, especially for tops.
I could have honestly gone a size down with the jumper but it's the second time I've ordered it and I can't be bothered to send it back again. I really like the cold shoulder details though, they add a little something as it's very plain. The trousers fit really well and are true to size. They have an under the bump waistband which allows me to tuck tee-shirts or shirts in if I want to emphasise my belly a little bit more. The walnut brown shade is very versatile and goes with a lot of my existing wardrobe. Win!
Please if you know any good affordable places to shop for maternity clothes share them in the comments, somebody else might be interested as well!
