Hey there! I'm back with a little outfit of the day...
Well it's not an exciting one but this has been my 'uniform' for the last few weeks. I can't stand the sight of maternity-wear anymore so I jumped into my pre-pregnancy clothes as soon as I could! I tried to squeeze into my old jeans a few days after delivery (don't do that guys) and almost cried. Now that they fit me again I'm living in them, especially to be able to wear my new favorite accessory aka the Gucci belt.
I know every blogger and their mom own this belt but I fell in love with it a few months ago and waited patiently the end of my pregnancy to treat myself. I really like it and as you know it's all about accessories with me. I like to dress very modestly and add a little something fancy to elevate my look. Everybody seems to go crazy for the black and gold version but I went with the navy blue and silver combination. I never ever wear gold so silver was a no brainer. I wear denim most days anyway so I know it will pair nicely with most of my wardrobe, especially during summer (basically all year long here, #winning).
Back to the uniform... as I'm breastfeeding I need easy access tops but I refuse to wear maternity clothes at this point. I found it difficult to shop for cute outfits while pregnant but breastfeeding tops are horrendous if you ask me. I'm a proud mom, yes, but do I want to look 'mumsy'? Helllllll no!
Shirts have been a life saviour, especially light coton ones from good old H&M. They are very lightweight, bitches to iron but oh so easy to unbutton and pop the boobies out, hahaha!
My espadrilles are from Zara. I've been loving espadrilles lately, especially at the end of my pregnancy when I couldn't paint my toes myself! They are a nice alternative to sandals. I'm really contemplating a pair of black Chanel's but I'm not ready to commit yet... or my husband should I say! But I'm working on it... :-)
